Your membership will be active from the effective start date of your plan. As soon as your plan gets active, all the services included in your plan will be activated immediately. If you are getting the Health Karma membership through an employer or association, confirm with them the effective start date set up for your plan.
Once your effective start date is due, when you sign in into your account, you will land into the dashboard where you will see all the different access points for the services.
In case one or some of the services activation get delayed, you will see the message “Activation in progress” on those. As soon as the activation is completed that message will switch to the appropriate button or link to access the service.
If you have a family plan, the primary account holder shall add the family members through the HK portal first. The adult dependents will receive an email to set up their own Health Karma account and get access to their virtual care portal where the access points to all the services are displayed.
Make sure that you are up to date in your membership payment to ensure you are enabled to access the services through your portal. If you are delayed in your monthly fee, the access to your services will be suspended until you get up to date with the payment. Once you are up to date, the access for each services will be restored automatically.
